Awesome, thanks! While we are trying not to do Pre-orders anymore I'd be happy to put your name down for one if you like. Give us a call/email.

Yes, 4 inch slide and 4.5 inch threaded barrel. They use PDP compact mags but will also work with PPQ mags, however, the PPQ mags being slightly longer will stick out from the gun ~1 inch.

Thanks you for confirming the mags as I have Q5 Match mags

Can you tell us anything about the "reinforced optic cut"?

    What has Walther done?

Haw they milled out a chunk of slide and added a lug to the underside of the optic plates? Are the PRO version optic plates different from the current PDP plates?

They put recoil lugs on the slide now.
    - threaded barrel
    - Dynamic performance trigger
    - new optic cut
    - magwell
    - 3 mags with base pads

    Reference this for changes:

I'd like to know that as well. Not a huge fan of threaded barrels as they're not very useful here.

No, these models all have a TB. Easiest and cheapest route would be to buy one and trade a regular PDP owner barrels.

I was about to pull the trigger on a PDP full size 5" a few weeks ago, I was stuck between the PDP and the Canik but now I'm glad I held off. The upgrades included look like a good value proposition compared to the standard model. When they come in stock I'll pick one up, haven't got into the optics-ready pistol game yet and I think this will be a great first entry.
