    I appreciate that!

I did a few more muzzle brakes this past week.
It seems there is a market for precisely made, effective, low profile brakes that are custom made to a customer's specific rifle.

Small medium and large templates, fully customizable from there!

    "Twins" granted a .223 and .308.

Here is a post 64 winnie94 I installed a ghost sight on last week. It's basic smith work but it fills in the cracks!

Here is a Rem700 bolt handle I thread milled for an over size knob...

The beauty of threadmilling is that the old knob becomes the new thread making for a very strong and accurately aligned handle.

And finally, I had a customer with a repro ZF41 scope mount (on a shooter rifle) that wouldn't lock up tight. My budget friendly solution was to make a "top clamp" to reinforce the roller spring.

Making it out of 4140 allowed it to be low profile without bending or flexing.

He'll need a screw driver to mount/dismount the scope now but at least it locks up solid...

I'm currently setting up to make a run of stainless steel, Tikka bottom metal. If anyone is interested in being added to the list, let me know!

    Beautiful work !

Can you flute my Tikka 595 bolt ?

I also would like to have a Tikka 595 metal bottom metal to replace the factory plastic unit.

Thanks RJ. I certainly could make self timing brakes if there is interest. My feelings have been that those are already widely available on the target/tactical market with a lot of "brand recognition" in place making it a difficult market to break into. I chose to design my current brakes to fill, what I perceive, as a gap in the market. Namely: a highly effective, low profile brake that is built and bored precisely and true, that is aesthetically pleasing with no sharp edges or burrs and is primarily intended for use on a lightweight hunting rifle.
I'd be happily proven wrong however and would certainly entertain adding such product offerings!

ben777lemay: I can absolutely flute your 595 bolt. I'm currently charging $165+shipping for bolt fluting and can cut any pattern you like.
As to 595 bottom metal, I love custom work and would be happy to discuss particulars with you if you are interested. My email is: pcook338@gmail.com

I'm just de-burring and cleaning up this run of T3 metal. Not gonna lie, its looking pretty slick...

How it "should have" from factory!

I've got a couple extra available from this run if anyone so desires.

Some times its the little things... I spent an entire day this week designing and making these stainless latches. Fiddly little critters, but they're they complete the product!

    Ready to roll...

I've still have a couple available from this batch, the others shipped out this week.

I've got a few more projects in the works at the moment. I am very pleased to report, the shop seems to be steadily getting busier!
