    Anschutz 1710 Competition Rimfire PRS Arriving...

    The long awaited Anschutz 1710 Competition Rimfire PRS rifle are starting to arrive.
    German Rimfire Precision mounted in a Canadian made adjustable core competition PRS chassis system.

    Photos below show the 1710 Competition models mounted with the new Leica PRS 5-30 x 56i sitting in SPUHR 34mm ISMS Rings (25.4mm High), and 20MOA MDT picatinny rail. These are not included with the rifle but available for purchase separately.

    A wicked combination.

    Anschutz no longer offer the 1710 in .17 HMR but we are working on a 1761 variant which will come in .17HMR, 17 Mach 2, .22lr and 22WMR with a quick change barrel. It will not be in the ACC chassis, but other styles of chassis/stocks. We should see that by the third quarter of this year.

    Looks like $4K USD? $5K CAD...

    It had better be lights out better than a custom barrelled CZ 457 or a Vudoo...

    Not sure how heavy PRS rigs are, but these seem up there in weight, factor in another 1lb for a scope

    Looking at various videos/forums, PRS rigs are usually 20+ pounds. It surprised me at first, but the goal is to have zero recoil for fast follow-ups so it makes sense. EDIT: I’m talking about the 6mm rigs.

    Can anyone that speaks Anschutz translate the key performance differences? Barrel size and SS/Threaded, etc, I understand...but what are the pros/cons of the Trigger and Chamber differences?
