In the before times, CDS processing averaged a week in house in the off-season; two weeks leading up to hunting season. Currently, the timeline varies based on the dial type. Every VX-3HD is CDS equipped, so the total number of dial requests has exploded, straining supply of the components to build the dials. We've been back-logged for a few months for both CDS-ZL and CDS-ZL2 dials, as the parts supply has been disrupted. Part delays appears to be easing, as we are receiving more components with each shipment from Leupold.
All dial requests are processed as received, so the best way to ensure you are in the queue is to send us the request.
