    R18 MK2 range rifle update

We now have over 3200 rds through the range R18 MK2 at TSE and over 1200 rds through the one at Target Sports (they have been closed a lot)

We know this as we pulled all of the other .223/5.56 rifles off the rental line when we put the R18 out, so we can clearly track every round that has gone through it.

We have had 5 reported light strikes and the quad rail needs to be tightened every now and again. But we have found that as long as we snug it after cleaning, it stays tight till the next cleaning. The team at Target managed to also shear the guide rods; but this is a known issue that has been slated to be upgraded in the next batch.

We are going to pull this rifle and put a new one on the line as "as a sample of two" is hardly sound science (unless we're talking about covid).

    So far so good!

It's refreshing to hear a company (Hopefully) truthfully reporting on the performance of their products. Excited to see these in full production and in the hands of the public en masse. Gonna give the status quo of 180's reason to worry.

We would like to think things are going well. There are over 40 rifles out there in the "wild" and have been for a couple of months. So far, so good!

Sterling should have more rifles to us (with the tweaks) by the second / third week of March. They are prepping for IWA in Germany; which is interfering with things a bit. But I am assured that continuous production will be focus after this.

Has finalized pricing been released yet? Lots of banter to sort through in the couple threads on these.
