Mine showed up yesterday, I got an M48A and everything was beautiful. The stock looks brand new with no marks dents or scuffs and the metal finish was pristine, the only spot I found with any wear was the bolt face, haven't checked the barrel yet still need to clean it.
Save time and elbow grease just put in the dishwasher for minimum of 3 full cycles and that is all you need to do
