    Question Heathen Brake 'Lite'

Is there a difference between the Heathen Brake and the Heathen Brake "Lite"

I am looking at getting one in .264/6.5mm and deciding which one to get Hybrid or normal.

    Cheers,
    B

Hi, I believe the Lite is a super hard aluminum and the regular is stainless steel. I don't have either so don't quote me on that!

    Take care,
    Chris

Pretty much what cslater said. One is aluminum (and much lighter weight) and the other steel. I have a few of both, steel ones on rifles where weight is less of a concern, aluminum on rifles where weight is a concern.

I will say.. The finish on the stainless brake is a lot nicer than the aluminum ones. And the old lock ring was better than the new style.

Any word on if these will be produced again? I have an NRL hunter rifle I'd like to put one of these on.

Yep, I’m looking for one of these too! Can’t find one anywhere! Any production runs coming up? Looking for one for my new 300 PRC before hunting season!
