A group of us did your in-class training together.
One persons application got sent back because, in the past they were diagnosed with mild depression and medicated for it.
They are no longer medicated or suffer from depression.
The Application asks for details on a separate page.
QUESTIONS:
1. Do we just type out the details?
2. Do we list what the medication was?
3. How much/little details is acceptable?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thank you.
EDIT:
More info:
- The RCMP Returned the application with an area highlighted. There is a section on the Application for PAL.
Section C - Personal History
16. d) Have you ever threatened or attempted suicide or have you ever suffered from or been diagnosed or treated by a medical practitioner for: depression, alcohol, drug or substance abuse; behavioral problems; or emotional problems.
They suffered a bout a mild depression a few years back. They were medicated but no longer are being medicated or suffering from depression.
Is there a best practices way to respond? The RCM P don't provide any details on what they expect for a response.
