I think people are confusing Prophet River with Profit River.

Its the manufacture setting the high base cost. The retailer is just making a small margin (aka keeping the lights on)

I remember in 2014,i bought a sks from a retailer here 165$ deliver to my door and the 10/22 was just around 200-300$,we dont talk about 20 years but what 8 years,its getting crazy out there.

we have a good chance to be. And we check PAL's as the orders come in- we are not sure if this new OIC comes into affect if we will have to recheck but we will find out.
