If you're in the market for a fantastic .22LR bolt action rifle for hunting, target, or you're setting up a rig for NRL-22 competition, the Tikka T1X is a very good platform to consider. Its no secret that Tikka are well known for quality manufacturing and these rifles are no exception featuring 10rd magazines, threaded muzzle for 1/2x28, smooth bolt, adjustable trigger from 2 - 4.5lbs, and very accurate. The T1X we have in stock are available in two models. The MTR and the UPR. Lets have a look at the difference between the two.

The MTR (Multi-Task Rifle) is well suited for not only small game hunting but can easily hang with the target rifles. The polymer stock is the same profile as the synthetic stock of the Tikka T3X and can accept the same modular grips and even the T3X recoil pad. Not that you need one for the recoil but the plastic butt pad of the T1X is a bit slippery and adding the recoil pad will stop it from slipping in your shoulder and give a little longer length of pull.

The UPR (Ultimate Precision Rifle) is built for the target shooter. The gun is focused towards the long distance 200 meter+ NRL22 or PRS22 shooters. The stock of the UPR has an adjustable cheek piece, has a carbon fiber/fiberglass mix bedding for increased rigidity and accuracy. The stock is coated in a rough surface finish for better grip conditions in rough weather. There is two options for mounting a sling with standard studs on the bottom or QD sockets on the side of the rifle. Although the gun is built for the long distance target shooting, the stock is light weight making it and ideal choice for small game hunting.

You can check out the guns Here on our webstore. These Tikka's are in pretty high demand so they don't stick around for long.
