Yup! Looks like they opened it back up.
The USA also went through a period where the AR15 was banned from being produced.
Ummm, no.
The US went through 10 years of a federal "assault weapons ban". The ban effected the number of features of the AR could have (pistol grip, bayo lug, muzzle break etc etc). They were still making post ban AR15's until the law sunsetted.
Down again..
