Is the NR version in 5.56 or only .223? The CZ manual says 5.56 but Marstar and some other retailers show .223.

Considering what this rifle was designed for and how it's being used around the world, I would assume 5.56.

Well, if this silliness is still around in the fall, then all it means is that the firearm is “on record” as sold to you. What that looks like, how it’s stored by the feds and what that even means, no one seems to know just yet.

Seeing as they are the exact same thing and completely interchangeable, I wouldn't be concerned.

All depends what’s stamped on the barrel. I think it’s 5.56, but marketed as .223 for import reasons, I think.. similar to X95’s advertised as .223 but actual barrel is 5.56

Any updates on the may 18 changes Marstar? There was supposed to be a demo on this new verification process, will Marstar be filling out the firearm-specific info? Have my pre-order, just curious!
