Are blue laser weapon lights rare?

I always hear others talk about RL and GL beam. Do you know a weapon light with a blue laser? Its beam is brighter than an ordinary RL but not as glaring as the GL in close-range uses. 🤔

    Baldr S BL——Compact Tactical Light

    ● Combining both a highly visible BL beam and 800 lumens of white light with a runtime of up to 140 minutes.
    ● Adjustable Rail: Slide the rail adapter back and forth freely to fix the light in the desired position. Quick installation and removal within one second
    ● Smooth Operation: Smooth momentary-on or constant-on activation through dual rear switches; easily switch modes with a quick flip in a concealed size.

Your eye is a lot less sensitive to blue light so you need way more power to see the laser than you would a green one. If you can see the beam then you have to be super careful of reflections getting you in the eye. I have a couple of cheap ebay "5mW" lasers that are definitely not eye safe, they'll burn through a black garbage bag in an instant.

Will this light light mount on a standard Sig P226R rail, with what comes in the box? Every pic I’ve found shows it mounted on an MK25, which has the M1913 rail. I believe the 226R is specific to Sig.

Very nice. Any chance it’s battery only? I’m not a fan of rechargeable without the option to run batteries.

I'd like to see Olight take the lead on offering replacement batteries for their re-chargeable units..... if it saves one planet and all that stuff.....

What do you think Vicky? Is Olight working to reduce their carbon footprint?

As for your question, I first noticed blue lasers a few years ago and they don't really seem to be taking off so to speak, not sure if they are better then green but I do like green over red.

Rare? Not common that's for sure.

How far can the blue or green dot be realistically used?
The brochure says 130 meters but I assume that’s the white light.

Whoops, I just seen the special pricing is off so will look elsewhere…
