Our plates are 1 peice muti curved Ceramic core that goes right to the edge.
Many of our competition use smaller Ceramic core or 1 inch tiles to make them lighter.
But you loose a lot of coverage.
This gives you less coverage on the strike face ,on what is already only covering the "vital area"
US SAPI or ESAPI have a greater coverage then commercial 10x12 or 11x14.
The Ukraine crisis has put a world wide shortage of quality non Chinese LIV hard plates
If you are buying any Armour to be sent to Ukraine please, please do not buy fake rebranded Chinese armour.

We pride ourselves on makeing quality life saving equipment that we would wear ourselves.
One last point I would like to make.
When buying so called "Made in the USA" LIV Plates be it NIJ certified or not.
The plates full under US ITAR and require an end user certificate from. US DOJ and export control by US DOHS. As well as they are considered Controlled goods to import to Canada and will require a ICC and approval for import.
So please check the "true " country origin.
