I have a transfer that I need to complete, 3 days and almost 100 calls, sorry we cannot answer as we are busy.

I try again tomorrow, but I'm thinking the CFO is closed.

I tried all day today, over 250 attempts and nothing…. Something smells like rotten tuna here..

Probably over 10000 people trying to call in a day and a very limited number of people to actually answer phones

Bought a Ruger wrangler & and a GSG 1911, both 22s a couple days ago to keep my buying $ in Alberta, will patiently wait as long as it takes no problem

But I have two questions about current regulations for business to individual purchases regarding restricted.
What happens with confirmation of range membership, does the CFO contact the individual to confirm that before a transfer can be completed ?, my current range membership is not on file with the Alberta CFO.
And, does a business require a pic of the front/back of the firearms license before a transfer can be done?

Cheers and thank you Prophet River staff for given 'er the best you can.

In AB, I don't think the range membership will be an issue right now. If they want it, they will request it.

A question on consignment - are you able to process consignment sales on the online portal?

I have purchased a handgun off the EE and the seller cannot get through the phone system.

Would you consider processing consignment sales for a fee? I would gladly pay $50 for the transfer to go through.

    Thanks!
