Honestly I think they are just scared and playing it safe so they don't get stuck with product they can't sell. I'd be doing the same thing. It also gets more guns into new owners hands that will join the fight for gun rights. Win win.

Probably because the wacko's at PolySeSouvient have been lobbying to have these firearms either reclassified as restricted or altogether prohibited.
I have no doubt if and when the new handgun legislation is put into effect these "Sporting Rifles" classifications will be changed.
