I thought that the freeze will happen right after the vote since it is merely an amendment to an existing regulation. Can someone clarify this once again?

As was explained to me, two regs at stake. C-21 is the new bill, the freeze would be a modification of existing law. The bill needs to go thru multiple readings in the house. The freeze is just an alteration or 'new interpretation ' of an existing regulation. Similar goals, just the freeze is to hold up transfers until c-21 is formalized.

So am I correct in saying we have approximately 3 months from today to continue to buy/sell/trade/gift handguns? Unless a election is called before hand? Regardless, C-21 or no C-21 its business as usual for the criminal segment of society.

Correct, it would require SECU calling a summer meeting which is not going to happen over this matter.

The only tiny bright spot, it will give people a little more time to acquire/adjust their personal inventory. C-21, no need, no sense except to further the liberals disarmament agenda.

If liberals bend over, NDP bents over too. So why do they even call themselves NDP??? They are NDP in the skin of Liberals? I have never seen such a stupid thing before.
