    What actually does a a transfer that is initiated mean ? Are the dealers that have firearms that are paid for trying to place the transfers is that what initiate means ? Sorry I have had lots of questions regarding Restricted firearms !

    Transfers that have already been initiated once this “freeze” comes into force, will still be processed as usual. Transfers already initiated will not be denied due to the “freeze”.

    Initiated means the dealer has submitted it to Mirimichi, likely through the business online portal. They will then forward to the provincial CFO to approval. It then is complete.

    So, if they gona stop transfer and people already pay me. I can check if customer have valid rPAL and there is no red flag. Maybe I can just give them gun. Anyways registration no need anymore. Number easy to remove.

    Should anything show up in the registration applications when I log on to the RCMP individual web services? Just wondering because it’s showing nothing despite having two transfers in progress.

    No, this is used for guns that you have acquired/imported/found/built/etc that are being registered for the first time or getting re-registered under the current system. This can be done through a paper form or though the IWS portal.
