Just got my transfer for the June 1st purchase today. Now waiting on June 3rd and June 10th buys....

My June 2nd purchase was just approved (BC).

3 week wait for me now. I did buy too many admittedly. Few rimfire revolvers and several semi's. I suppose it is likely an automatic response to make people wait when buying more than a couple.

Resident of BC purchased from Prophet River purchased late on June 3 filed on June 4 just received my approval June 24. I didn’t phone anyone or send anyone emails etc.

Mine HAS to be approved soon. This is so irritating. I have called a bunch and can't even get through to them.

Finally got one. Woohoo. Application was submitted on June 4 and got the approval today. 20 day turnaround.

If you’re waiting on approval, why would you be calling at all? There’s people trying to initiate/complete transfers who can’t get through because impatient people feel they’re entitled to updates are plugging up the system.
Also, if you’ve purchased from a dealer and presumably they actually have it in stock, the only thing you have to do is wait patiently. That’s it.

They have adjourned for the summer so nothing is going to happen until the fall. October at the earliest before this can get fully passed and receive royal ascent.

Also, FYI, got the transfer for one of my June 3rd purchases this morning. Still waiting on the second I bought June 3rd and the one from June 10. If the timeline holds it will be another week before all are done.
