What's with needing a PAL,place of birth and Gun Club membership to buy primers?
You don't need any of that.... Just plenty of cash.
reloading component , i belive you dont need it..
Many retailers ask for your PAL for primers or powder. It is not of course a legal requirement but a store policy. Or in some cases a misunderstanding of the legal requirement by the retailer. I never argue with them but always say "it's not required but here you are" as I show them my PAL.

ya my local LGS , lone butte sporting goods has this ridiculous policy as well..... and they want to write the PAL info in their ledger for every pound of powder...... Not cool.
