With a couple of quick measurements it looks like 13 to 14 is as short as you can go with an standard carbine buffer. I would be happy with 14.
I just picked up a blue one and have yet to shoot it
But was thinking bout putting a muzzle break on the end of it since it is threaded

For information purposes, the collapsed length of a TM22 with the stock barrel with commercial buffer tube and Magpul CTR buttstock is 32 1/4 inches (25 1/4 inches to the end of the hand guard).
If you guys do runs of complete rifles with the barrels installed I’m in.
