Just like the the CFO should get with program? Its 2022 , how long does it take to put an item in someone else's name. As a matter fact why even have this bull#### transfers. Purchase it like a non restricted.

    What province are you in?

I have two purchases pending (not with FOC)

One (June 2nd) had a reference number issued at 19 days after purchase (June 21st), the second (June 16th) still waiting on a reference number to be issued.

Ontario CFO has 15,000+ transfer backlog and like 2 people working on it.

All the stores complaining about being overwhelmed and too busy to offer basic customer service should probably hire more staff with the money they made from the 50,000 handguns sold in a week. Oh, can't do that, that'll cut into profits.
I suck at responding to PMs. Don't take it personally.

I'm in AB. I had 4 pending in total between June 3 and July 2 but with this one now cancelled I have 3 pending. I got 2 approved that I bought on may 31 and June 1.

Have you tried to hire staff lately? Especially trained staff who can deal in the firearms trade? It really is not that simple. Also yes they made money off the sale of handguns but for that business it will be the last money they make off of a handgun sale ever, so not really good business sense to go out and hire and train staff for a business that will not exist after Justin and Jug has thier go at it.
My experience with FOC in the past (3 sales) has been positive. No I never got a transfer number but was not concerned with it as assumed they got the process started. Each gun I have received has come with my name on a piece of masking tape across the box/package that the gun is sold in, so i assume when I buy they simply go to stock, record the serial and other info needed for sale and transfer and mark the box with a name signalling sold.

I made a purchase from another sponsor retailer on crazy day and also did not get a transfer number in any email. The only way i found it was to log on to the sight with my credentials created at sale and look at "my orders" which showed that the transfer number and that it was initiated 2 days after the actual sale. I assume this was because they were busy getting fellow persons who bought ahead of me into the system.

To add insult to injury, FOC closed their store to walk in's.......so it's not like they can say they were too busy helping people at the counter.

I've got a June 9th purchase with FOC. Still no reference number, of course my VISA was billed right away. I'll be contacting them today, as I'm already in pocession of a pistol purchased June 1st from a different vendor...
