I know its us all being good Canadians, but it's more than a bit funny that all these "scary gun lovers" are patiently waiting for the federal (and provincial) governments (which pretty much, if not totally hate you, at least think of you as fourth or fifth class citizens) to properly fill out many, many forms so that you can legally acquire a restricted firearm. Which you will then take home and follow a myriad of rules with regards to storage, transport, usage, etc.
Imagine the mayhem if there was a regulation change, and welfare cheques didn't go out the proper day? Bloody mayhem.
Stay strong, my good little citizens. Maybe, if we are really good, Pierre might even call Justin some more naughty words for Christmas!

June 6th cleared today. Private to private sale in Ontario.
Just had one approved started on June 19th, Ontario to Ontario, private.
I have a number of Ontario transfers in the system, both Business to Private and Private to Private.
I have noticed a pattern in the approved ones so far. The Business transfers seem to be ahead of the Private slightly.
Eg. on Nov 10 I had a Private and a Business transfer approved. The ref number on the Business transfer was @ 12,000 higher.
The two transfers were Private 59346XX and the Business 59464XX.
The lady at the CFC thought it might be that Private to Private take a little more time due to two private parties being involved.
In QC, two handguns today all in July , that make me 4 months slow is the name of the game!
