Realistically, question to those who have been reloading, how much money you save for an example on reloading 1000 rounds of 9mm vs buying? Can you share? I am considering buying reloading equipments.

Don’t entirely do it for the cost savings, but rather another aspect of the hobby and able to fine tune reloads the way one wants.
Obviously used to be cheaper but for me, easy numbers for 147gr 9mm would be:

50$/1lb of powder. 120$ for a 1000x bag of 147gr. 1000 primers 130$. Of brass can be scavenges from the range for free… 300$ per 1000 rounds of 9mm loaded the way you want.

1lb of powder for exactly 1000 rounds of 147gr of 9mm? Or will there be enough powder left for more?

$300 for 1000 rounds is really good!! And yes I am only doing it to save on ammo and plus I think I will enjoy doing it and while having coffee or tea with music on the background.

Your right. You will have powder leftover. 300 was rough all in as projectiles, brand of powder and even primer brand and cost can vary. Without getting into the weeds too much.

For 9mm, 124 grain bullets that make a 125 power factor:
    - My cost right now is $0.308 per round. That's with the currently inflated cost of.....everything and includes taxes paid.
    - For comparison, in 2009 is was $0.175

Does the 750xl comes with everything I need to start reloading? If not, what else do I need to get? Newbie here. Thanka
