    Dawson precision mos cowitness sights

    Hey BB

    Do you know with a glock17mos gen5 which dawson blacked out cowitness sight will absolute cowitness off hand using the mos plates with a holosun 507c.

    That would depend on which optic you want to mount on your MOS Glock, that will determine the optimal 100% co-witness sight height for your irons.

    Yeah sorry i had a late edit 507c in accs is what i have currently. I seen the c&h plates are out of stock. Looks like 2 options on the site for dawson sets.

    For 100% co-witness you'd be look at around 0.395T for irons or 0.370T for a lower 1/3 co-witness.

    Is the measurement the same for the Aimpoint
    Acro P2 for 1/3 co witness??

    Glock doesn't make an MOS plate for the ACRO. Our shop has an in house ACRO plate (https://shop.blackboxcustoms.com/pro...357d6cc6&_ss=r). For a 1/3 co-witness you'd be looking at around 0.300T and 0.330T max for 100% co-witness. The ACRO has all of it's electronics on the top half of the optic and the window with dot sitting much lower in the design to reduce the height over bore ratio, that's why you don't need super tall irons to co-witness.

    Ok thanks for the great information!
    Been looking all over the internet for what height of irons I need.
