    The gun is exactly as shown. The boxes say trench gun and that is how Norinco has marketed them. While this may not meet the definition of what some people have seeing, we title it what the box says. What makes a gun a riot vs trench gun? Who knows, they call it a trench gun so we will to. There is nothing different in the description from the picture.

    I mean technically unless you’re using it in a trench, or in a riot, it’s just a pump action shotgun. Some people get too hung up on semantics.

    They are selling what would be considered a riot gun, not a trench gun:

    Is there a source for the heat shield and bayonet lug I can get for my original model ?

    I've never really seen the appeal of these, given that you can get a used real-deal model 12 (which is a better gun than the 1897) for less money.
