Pretty sure he was suggesting that the price was worth commenting on as opposed to barrel length....

That is what they list for the weight. Not having seen one yet it would be consistent with the other Venus rifles.
What’s wrong with 12lbs? Too heavy?
I thinks this is a typical weight of a Competition style 22lr rifle.
The ones I have (Vudoo on krg bravo, RimX on MPA hybrid) built by GBT weight about same, around 11 to 12 lbs naked without bipod or magazine or scope

There was nothing "veiled" about the comment on price.
I thought it was pretty straight forward - it's expensive.
Granted, there are those that don't believe it is.
Alas, all of us are not in that upper 10% that think this is a deal.
Yet there is nothing wrong with wanting nice things.
Kudos to GBT for giving a discount.
