I remember when I was younger we made the trip from Sudbury to Toronto and I remember my dad talking to him in Italian...and then I started to talk to him In italian really nice guy

Sam really made his mark, and and I would dare say, his legacy in operating a store that has, over decades, both put the customer first, and run the business with integrity. No doubt that is a testament to the longevity of the store, especially in Toronto. Him and his family can certainly take pride in that. I have dealt with many gun stores over the course of my life. I can say without reservation that I have nothing but positive experiences at Al's. May Sam rest in peace, and sincere condolences to the Savarino family during this difficult time.
