Yup, here's a reminder of something that the squirrel population has been calling on to ban with the Liberal government ; our TUF-22 25 round magazine.
Reviled by small criters everywhere, these have recently caught the attention of Selfie the Clown and his Minister for Backdating and it would be my guess they may be on the chopping block soon. News has leaked of a large shipment of nuts headed to Rideau Hall as proof the squirrel lobby has acted quickly and decisively. They know The Turd likes nuts, or was that his wife ...? Meh, either way, here's a link

Curious how the TUF22 mags compare to the 10/22 Mag Adapter for the Promags in term of reliability.
Is one clearly superior or are both comparable to the native 10/22 mags?

The TUF-22 mags are absolutely fine magazines.
It only takes a few minutes on a mill to modify a 10/22 receiver to accept these magazines.
They are very well made, and run very well.

can't speak for the adapter but I've yet to have any issues feeding with tuf-22 mags(1000 rounds fired or so) when loaded like a normal mag, I've had some issues using the clip system they have but I'd chalk that up to user error

These things are great. I have 4 of the kits and numerous individual ones and they all run great in multiple receivers. I have not had any issues with the aluminum adapters either…I have 4 of those and all are equally reliable…the polymer ones were not as reliable but still function in a pinch. Dlask has been my go to 10-22 supplier for a few years now and I haven’t been disappointed yet. I don’t always shoot 22, but when I do, I choose Dlask.

Thanks, everyone. That helps.
Unfortunately, I don't have a milling machine so I'll go with a TUF-22-compatible receiver.

I don't want to sponsor another business member inside the Dlask forum, but I think it's ok since it could only add business for them
Spectre Ballistics out of Alberta makes a drop-in, no mods required, adaptor for the 10-22 to take these mags

Thanks, I was aware of this receiver.
