In-stock: Type 81 lmg

Unfortunately the T81 SE had last shipment from the production run stock. We will work to get more rifles but no ETA at this time. Next shipment is SR's :)

Black polymer furniture has appeared on Type 81's in a Southeast Asian conflict. If more rifles were to appear, would that furniture come with them? Or would that furniture become available for purchase for existing rifles, should it be compatible?

Those use a more traditional ak tang rear trunnion. We would need custom made black polymer. Id be down for some plum furniture with a palm swell

I'm pretty sure that furniture is from the Bangladeshi licenced manufacturer and not norinco where the ones imported to Canada come from

Anyone willing to share their insights for the LMG? Is it reliable?

Not a single one has been returned to TI for malfunctions.

I've heard nothing but good things.

lots of people might not be willing to admit they have one, while the Liberals are in power and salivating to take away our property for votes.

Ustauk is correct, the polymer is from the rebels from Myanmar (old Burma). Bangladesh BD-08 looks like wood.

Here's an article on Type 81's manufactured the Wa ethnic group in Myanmar, with assistance from China. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2018/09/14/border-wars-the-type-81-variants-of-the-united-wa-state-army/. Presumably this is similar to the SKS tooling being brought into Vietnam to make locally made firearms back in the day. And said engineers should be able to bring samples back from Myanmar to China to make polymer furniture for Type 81s sold to Canada and other buyers, if there is a demand. Would a firearm appearing as below sell in Canada, in the community's opinion?

According to Gun Wiki, Type 81s are also manufactured by the faction in Kachin state as well https://guns.fandom.com/wiki/Kachin_K-09, again with polymer furniture:

Although the Type 81 was initially brought in as an AK alternative, and many love the wood furniture, I could see the polymer furniture still being popular, especially with the "Gotta-catch them all" crown.
