Yes,

A standard 11mm Dovetail receiver, drilled and tapped as well.
The machined pattern on the top of the rail is purely cosmetic, to take away the plain look of the top of the receiver.
Anschutz have done this for years on this model, its also found on other models.

Hi Brad, what would be the difference from a 1712 model, other than the SS barrel?

Stock...Classic vs Monte Carlo
Barrel profile (med tapered vs heavy)
Barrel length 560mm vs 584mm
Barrel Diameter at muzzle (18mm vs 21mm)
Trigger 5109 (1000g) vs 5119 (180g)

Receivers are the same... but the changes above make it a totally different rifle

is there a 1712 with 5119 trigger?
I like the lightweight of 1712 and its monte carlo stock, but 5119 trigger.
