Most Canadians are unaware or blissfully ignorant of the Liberals true intentions which is eventual full elimination of private ownership of firearms.

If we aren't careful our allies will fight to remove the single shot, bolt action and shotguns off the list and then chalk it up as a "win" for gun owners even though the liberals just outlawed the rest of the semi's they didn't ban in the 2020 OIC.

We really need to be educating people that this government is pushing to disarm law abiding citizens not for public safety but because citizen disarmament is one the cornerstones of agenda 21/2030 and the WEF's great reset.

A lot of people already get it, I'm running into more people then ever who do but there are also a lot of people with their head in the sand trying to convince themselves this is just for political points with the liberal base or some such nonsense.

We also need to be pointing out how greasy this move from the liberals was. Sneaking in an amendment that drastically changed the scope and more then doubled the size of the original legislation.

"OIC" bill C21(handgun ban) "amendmant"(hunting and sporting style rifles & shotguns) the "greasy" part is enshrining it in law.

Didn't realize when that RPAL showed up at my doorstep that my brain would immediately have the all the information in the many years of gun control legistlations I needed to know about what's going on and what's coming up.

But what do I know, I didn't see it coming right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
what i meant is not the last handgun freezing or anything else. that society had led to not critical thinking that is only what i meant ... it was written in the stone that all was coming just a matter of time.

The Liberal minority government is in power because of their coalition with the NDP. So maybe put pressure on a few NDP MP's, especially those who won their ridings in the last election with a slim margin of votes. The anti-gun coalition, largely based in Montreal and Toronto want, ALL firearms to be illegal and they will never stop pressuring Liberal governments to that end. So firearm owners must never stop applying opposite pressure to the politicians in any and every way we can. Fundamentally, politicians want only one thing -- to be reelected and stay in power -- so, threatening the Liberal/NDP coalition by identifying its political weak links is the key to solving the problem, IMHO.

    RCMP Caught Lying to Parliament

Canadian Firearms Program Technical Specialist Murray Smith Misleads MPs

OTTAWA – Today, Tony Bernardo, Executive Director of the Canadian Shooting Sports Association, issued the following statement regarding comments made by the RCMP’s Murray Smith at the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security.

“Members of Parliament require impartial expert advice while they deliberate on legislation. Canadian Firearms Program Technical Specialist Murray Smith had an important duty to inform Members of Parliament about technical firearms issues. Unfortunately, he took the opportunity to spread ideologically-based misinformation.

“When asked an intelligent question by Liberal MP Taleeb Noormohamed about the ridiculous prohibition of a .22 plinking rifle, Smith misled the committee by saying that the Mossberg 715T rifle was a variant of the AR-15 rifle and bore no resemblance to the Mossberg 702.

“The reality is that the Mossberg 715 shares no common parts with the AR-15. It is a Mossberg 702 rifle with a plastic shell designed to have a similar look to the AR-15."

“If Mr. Smith does not know these simple facts – available to anyone remotely acquainted with firearms – it raises serious concerns about what qualifications he has to be considered a “technical specialist.”

“The CSSA calls on the RCMP to immediately correct the record. Following recent scandals where the RCMP put the interest of its Liberal political masters first, we believe it would hurt public confidence in the RCMP to see yet another case.

“Misleading Parliament does not show our elected representatives, nor the people who sent them there, the respect that they deserve.

In 2016 I applied to be a firearms Technician with the RCMP in Ottawa, I had interviews and a practical test on firearms. The test consisted of naming different types of actions and pictures of various firearms and what classification it was, non-Restricted, restricted and prohibited. If the guy took the same test I did, there is no way he did not know the difference between the Mossberg 715 and an AR-15. I had the job, but I changed my mind and decided to stay in the Military and remain in Alberta.

According to Murray and the CFP via SECU meeting the reason behind banning the Mossberg PC carbine is a "variant" of the AR. And because "PC" supposedly stands for 'police carbine'.

According to his testimony in the federal cases, marketing is enough to make something a variant in the eyes of the RCMP.

A legal definition that specifically limits the decision to measurable, technical data would fix this.
