So what would happen if a restricted rifle was purchased today and have to wait 5 months to get it transferred. If this ban comes in, would the transfer be cancelled and store return the money or does it go through and you end up with an unusable paperweight?

It's unclear how this definition will be used in the remainder of the bill. The outcome is unknown, but it looks like the intent is to ban them. The question will be what regulations and additional legislation will be added in this bill to impact the newly defined prohibited firearms. We'll know more in the next few weeks - this bill is likely to take a long time to get through clause by clause review.

She can do F*k all. Firearms legislation is done by the feds. Border protection, customs rules, import rules are set by the feds. The feds are controlled from London and Davos. Only the people could stop this mess, but the people already showed them during the pandemic and following purges, that they are not willing to fight for anything.

We live in a world where you'll only be left with the rights you are willing to fight and die for....but the Canadians are not willing to fight for anything.....So we'll become a test run for all the diabolic ideas these Psychopaths in Davos and London come up with.

It was first proposed in 2015 and reposted in 2019

In 2016 the NSSF and the AFSP started on their journey along the same path and it has grown exponentially since then. The link to that is my sig line and a Google search / research leads to some fascinating outcomes. Even the federal government has joined in the movement.

Here in Canada the idea has been pizzed on .........
One of the first things that was done after taking office in 2015 was a fealty test for all charities, comply or loose your charitable tax status. Compliance was high and caused fundamental shifts in policies of their boards. If you want to support a charity working towards ends that accomplish the liberal agenda you may make new friends but you will not accomplish much on the gun front in this country.

    Unfortunately, correct.

Dig the holes, get the cattle cars ready, very few will fight this battle.

The rest will slather themselves in kerosene and, well history tells us what comes next.

There will be no compensation, not even the tax you paid. Canada is no longer a democratic country, it is run by far left nut jobs who only have contempt for legal gun owners and freedom loving Canadians.

100% it's a disgrace what society has become, so many good men and women died in the past for our freedoms only to have a bunch of pathetic sheep cave into this dictator without even a hint of fight. The convoy proved that... which was for people's health , safety and livelihood... never mind simple firearm possession.

And then you've got people threatening domestic terrorism. On a publicly viewable internet forum. That is known to be monitored... that'll definitely convince the Liberals to leave our guns alone...
It's becoming quite clear, if one is capable of seeing through the fog at the Emergencies Act Inquiry, that part of what the left proposes going forward is an expansion or weakening of the threshold for CSIS to label something a threat to the country. Given the staff commnications in advance of the convoy's arrival suggesting that this could be Canada's "Jan 6" and the fact that all Trudeau did was prolong and exasperate the situation sure makes it look like they wanted violence to occur so that they could support their claims that the new threat to western democracies is not foreign but in fact domestic. The threat is basically people who suffer from "wrong think" and refuse to drink progressive cool-aid. This systemic targeting of political opponents by the security community and police etc is alarming and should concern all Canadians.

Sad reality is many progressives today and their "allies" don't mind if the boots of the government come down on the necks of the people they disagree with..... kind or ironic given that some of them claim to be anti fascists.
Our Government trusts rivets more then law abiding gun owners.
