    Turning 18

    OK, I am not about to turn 18.

    I was asked a question and I don't have a good answer. A shooter with a minor's PAL that is 17. When should/can he apply for an adult PAL?

    Not 100 % on this but I would think he/she must be 18 in order to apply. It is that way for other government stuff that it must on or after the birthday. Like I said I may be wrong. Did you tell to check the CFC web site?

    I don't know if CFC will start processing an application before you are 18. Phone the 1-800 731-4000 number and ask them. If not, have the application in the mail so it arrives in their office the day you are 18.

    my friend sent his app in to renew to an adult license a few weeks before he turned 18
