    So wait, if they added the previous firearms banned from the OIC into Bill C21 and we're still able to transport, use, buy and sell until the bill becomes law does that mean that we can now use our previous prohibited firearms? Sorry if this is a silly question.

    No OIC would still be in place. This would just codify it into law making it harder to change further down the line. As well as making legal challenges more complicated.

    I think the answer to that will be what they decide for this new class of prohib. If they treat it like handguns then the answer would be yes. If they treat it like the OIC then no. It will most likely also get them out of a “buy back”.
