That’s because by and large they’re individual sellers not set up to accept credit card payments. Any legitimate business should accept credit cards (with a few exceptions like P&S Militaria who are super old school).

Looks like the same deal with Gun Gear Canada. Don't deal with them either. Still awaiting response from countless emails and phone calls since July.
