Yes, this might work but I managed to find the sealing plate for around $30 at IRG US site. (see link below)
Note the notched section that covers the rear sight's screw holes. The other plates discussed here don't do that.

Here's the area that I need covered.

Here's the rear adjustable sight that was removed.

Ahh I see the purpose it plugs the holes yes, water proofing na.
but mainly provides the extra mounting points and fills the slight gap/also has the front beaver tail tab.
    Sweet!
    Nice I learned something today;-)
Now wondering how the Delta Point Pro directly mount works?

I have a DPP directly mounted to the slide. It covers the whole optic cut-out. No need to sealing or filler plates. Same goes for the Romeo 1 pro.

Direct mount optics have the advantage of sitting lower on the slide.

You are missing the point. The sealing plate is only meant to seal the RMR battery compartment, it is the same exact size as the RMR and will not cover the rest of the cutout. The footprint of the RMR/SRO/Holosun optic is smaller than the cutout on the X5. The reciprocating force will be felt on the screws only and they will shear off in a short amount of time. The filler plate is meant to give the optic a bit of metal to sit against to distribute the force away from the screws.

Yes the sealer plate is only for the RMR because it is a bottom load battery. You just need the right adapter plate. Pretty sure this C&H would work on the x-five even though it is specifically for the RX/AXG.

It will be No battery. Using solar and a capacitor to operate.
Also they will be gun specific to model. So=no mounting plate will be used just direct mount.
I just got one for a Glock and it is a really nice set up - Green dot, compact and sits low so stock sights will cowitness.

Nope, ordered and found this plate is only for the 507C not the 507K which is what I have.

Just finished mounting the 507C. 507K is going elsewhere. Thanks for the advice everyone.

Nice! Where did ya get the SCS and $?
Hope they do a x5 soon.

That 507c is a smooth direct fit on your Legion!
Did ya use the plate or not?
Think I’m missed a step here.
