Galil mags should work, I was able to use 7.62 ones in my .308 hunter I converted a few years back. Galil mags are cheap compared to Valmet mags

Galil mags can work barely and also cause an catastrophic failure by detonation out of battery
It’s well documented

I wouldn’t use those. There are other mods from hk mags that work
