Why can’t anyone make a .45 pcc in the 6-7lb range? Surely it’s not a recoil issue.
Will also reluctantly add that the price went from $549 to $649 within the last hour so there’s that too…
I think you are mistaken my friend. We posted yesterday at $649 and sold several of them at that price. The price for this firearm has never been anything other than $649.

FYI - MSRP on this one is 699.99.

    Have a great weekend.

My apologies western metal. It was my error and would edit it but it’s been quoted already. I was elsewhere on the world wide interwebs and was mistaken.

I can say, to add to the thread, that I have a 4945 (restricted version), and I don't find it too heavy. I can also say that it is very reliable (which is something that I can't say about my FX-9 which cost more than twice as much $$). There's no denying that the 4945 isn't exactly pretty, but it flat out works and is pretty much the cheapest PCC out there.
The reason the weight is more is that the manufacturer typically lists the weight of just the firearm, however, our weight listing is for shipping purposes. Basically our weight includes things like magazine(s), trigger locks or other manufacturer supplied accessories, the box or case, and all packaging materials to keep the items in place during shipping.
