    That makes sense, on JRCs product page for barrels it states they wont ship to Canada (almost certainly due to ITAR).

    Pretty dumb when you think about it, you still get the barrel via North Sylva but with more hassle / expense (typical government).

    What's the purpose of the longer buffer tube?

    Is it just to increase your length of pull?

    Or is it to increase the distance of the bolt travel?

    I bought a JRC last year that came with a cross threaded buffer tube, a 40 cal instead of 9 mm buffer, and was missing the plastic disc that goes with the rubber bumper.

    They shipped all the bits to me

    JRC carbines have a longer than normal buffer tube.

    Need the extra room as I plan to use it in a PCC with additional weights but still want the last round bolt hold open to function.
