I’m assuming Pakistan and we’re told carbon steel. One of my friends imports them. We’ve been selling them for a while and haven’t had a handle or anything else break on them. We got a good deal on a large number of them so we’re passing on the savings.

The easy answer is probably china, but theres been an influx of these kind of axes coming from Pakistan on amazon as well. I've watched a few youtube videos of the craftsman, and I find it quite hilarious that you will have a deeply religious country like Pakistan, and these craftsman are etching pagan symbols into axes.

Just goes to show, only money matters.
