Hahaha. I am waiting for a sale. I had the standard one years ago and sold it when I saw it unfolded. It just creeped me out. But back then we had the option of shooting a CZ or VZ.

Just picked up the 16a. The 16a with the folder stock seems stiffer than the ar15 style stock. Both are nice.

The fold out bipod things are a bit asinine but I love them.
    Irons are nice.

    Store is nice. Helpful people.

Been fiddling around with the 16a.
Have not had a chance to take it to range.
Been messing around with magazines and cycling the bolt.
Even the junkier magazines seem to seat and cycle well.

    Rifle is very handy.
The takedown pin a bit stiff.
Long term I'm probably just gonna leave it as a fixed stock as it feels good in the shoulder.

Went to the local gun store and handled it. Definitely all plastic and very lightweight. the plastic feels pretty solid actually, and other than the wobbly AR stock (easy fix), the rest of the rifle felt quite solid. Action is pretty smooth and the trigger is not bad at all (the reset is very short and crisp, which I like).

Back when ARs were available I would've never even considered this when you could get an American-made AR (PSA, S&W) for less and better quality. It's always been NR, though, so that was the only selling point.

I'm tempted to get one to scratch the NR itch, especially given the prices of everything else on the market now (Canadian AR180 variants all are $1600+ and all unproven except for maybe the Templar and the R18 but those are over $2k+). THe rest are all higher end $2~$5k European options.

From what I've read, once you get past the plastic frame , it's actually been a mechanically reliable rifle for the past 5+ years or more. Better track record than any of the Canadian-made AR180 variants!

Mine came from marstar "no mag" title..

Box arrives and it clearly said 5 round mag on the box side, looks like it was opened and the mag pulled to me.

honestly I think we in Canada get screwed all the time when it comes to magazines. I felt that way when I got my CZ Shadow. One mag, when the box holds 3.

The 10/10 MFT mags look great and work well. Bought a whole bunch from IRG for a great price
