Taylors and Co 357 Mag NR Revolving Carbines

We have a few of these; surplus to special orders coming in a few weeks. We were just allocated them yesterday by Taylors & Co. We will get a pre sale listing for these in a few hours once we get pricing figured out. We will post a link here. (Many clients have waited over a year for these)

Are they NR despite the shorter 18" length? Or is the barrel length fully 18.5" or is there some other rule that applies to these since they are single action?

It's a rifle not a pistol, and not semi-automatic so barrel length doesn't matter outside of overall length.

They're not semi-auto. Even if it was a double action I don't think barrel length would matter, but as a single action it definitely shouldn't. By definition a semi-automatic firearm uses energy from firing to cycle the action/ready another shot. Revolvers don't use energy from firing to do any of that stuff, your finger does that work not the gun.

From Regulations Prescribing Certain Firearms and Other Weapons, Components and Parts of Weapons, Accessories, Cartridge Magazines, Ammunition and Projectiles as Prohibited or Restricted
    SOR/98-462:
1 In these Regulations, “semi-automatic”, in respect of a firearm, means a firearm that is equipped with a mechanism that, following the discharge of a cartridge, automatically operates to complete any part of the reloading cycle necessary to prepare for the discharge of the next cartridge.

Single Action, not built on a handgun frame , barrel length does not matter, only the overall length of the firearm. If you buy one and you are worried about getting questioned by LE, we can provide a copy of the FRT with your purchase.

That's great, thanks for the info, so in theory the barrel on these could be 11"? Since OAL is 35" and requirement is 26"... I'd buy a 12" version!

Though in all seriousness I've been eying these for a while and am very tempted. Thanks for bringing them in.
