Update:

In order to meet the demand we are currently moving our production facility in Lake Havasu City, AZ to accommodate the ATFSBR-9 and the Chico given the overwhelming interest.

There will be roughly a 30 delay before things can move forward due to ATF requirements when moving a manufacturing FFL.

This firearm has gone through a number of enhancements or refinements since its inception based on customer feedback, and our extensive and rigorous testing on the prototypes.

There was no point in continually posting pictures until we are 100% satisfied and everything is perfect.

Now is that time, these are current renderings of the final production run. Of course there will be no suppressor, the firearm will be completely black and it will include a proprietary folding stock as shown.

This firearm has a restricted FRT and is compatible with all Glock 17 Gen3 components.

Once again, it was clearly stated early on in this thread by IRG that there will be an NR version. How’s is there “zero reason” to produce an 18” barrel version? There’s multiple videos online demonstrating that 16” tilting barrels run reliably, why wouldn’t an 18”? Pretty obvious you don’t have the slightest clue what you’re talking about.

IRG has mentioned this will come to fruition at some point, IRG has stated they will consider the idea of a NR, and it may be in the works (design process). They have not guaranteed the public there will be a NR model, nor is a NR barrel length listed on the FRT, there's a lot of hoops to jump through and IRG knows it.

making a tilt barrel 18" rifle is a nightmare, given how the mechanism relies on the slide, slide return spring, and a locking block under the slide. Anybody that has taken apart a Glock slide, understands that it is almost impossible to build a reliable 19" tilting barrel firearm, or to get it to operate when it does run. Beefier components, load bearing, tolerance stacking etc, all needs to be figured out, and you've got torsional forces on the end of the barrel by its weight itself on top of that.

Can it be done? yes,
is it worth it? no.
IRG may toss it out in the market, but at the same cost (assuming it is), a fx9 or any other fixed barrel counterpart will perform a lot better, and reliably, with more accuracy.

Anybody individual educated on the functioning of this type of firearm, that buys it in NR would be buying it as a novelty, not for the actual use of it. Or for the fact that they cant buy a R, which goes back to my original point of being better off with something else instead.

I think the point is that some people have taken the viewpoint that if you drive a NR rifle out to the range, drop a R barrel on it, shoot for the day, return the NR barrel and drive home, you are compliant with current regulations, ATT rules etc.

I don't want to turn this threat into an argument of whether this is allowed or not (see every FX9 upper thread) but some people see the opportunity here of having an NR platform that you can convert for the purposes of a range session and return to NR afterwards.

I may be impatient, but you seem to have the reading ability of a toddler. Try the first page of the thread again. These guns were "in production" a year ago.

...aaaand how is that an "unrealistic timeline" in your expert opinion? How long did it take YOU to bring a firearm from renderings to production? Come on, I'm sure numerous people on here want to hear about your endeavors in the fire arm industry.
If YOU did not actually produce YOUR own firearm design that YOU brought to market then sit down. No one cares about your 'realistic timeline' delusions.

P.S. Foxbat was 14 months and it was rushed due to Handgun Freeze/Ban

Because they don’t exist yet, IRUNGUNS only made prototypes to submit to the RCMP LAB for FRT approval, which is the renderings they’ve posted to this thread. Having a valid FRT just means they can be imported and legal in canada on paper, actual production and delivery is still under IRUNGUNS and their sole discretion, for all we know they could abandon the plan in a few weeks too.
