    18.6" no but you do see 16" ones in the states for non-NFA carbine conversions.

    Maybe I'm the only one thinking this but... how the devil does it cycle if the stock is attached to the slide?

    The slide cycles internally, what you see in the rendering is essentially a top housing for the slide.

    It wouldn't be difficult for a smith to make one. You might run into issues with cycling though because of all of that weight whipping around when the barrel tilts to unlock.

    This is exactly the issue. The problem is dealing with the tilting barrel issues. Namely bowing of the barrel over time due to the lever force.

    Very cool design. Make a non restricted barrel and i'll buy
