Question Smokey Days at The Creek - Spy Balloons and Suspicious Smogs.. and a few deals

So what do you guys think? Is this a suspiciously active and early fire season? Is there a reason we don't hear about any more "spy balloons"? Have they all been shot down or are we looking at the results of an intended purpose we just don't know about yet?

    Some context:

    Incendiary Balloons

"Fu-Go (ふ号[兵器], fugō [heiki], lit. "Code 'Fu' [Weapon]") was an incendiary balloon weapon (風船爆弾, fūsen bakudan, lit. "balloon bomb") deployed by Japan against the United States during World War II. It consisted of a hydrogen-filled paper balloon 33 feet (10 m) in diameter, with a payload of four 11-pound (5.0 kg) incendiary devices..."

Weird how we never heard a whisper about forest fires during COVID? I guess all the "environmentalists" had to stay home, and so somehow there wasn't a fire problem.

I guess if you just ignore 2021... you know, over 6000 fires and over 4.1M hectares burned, the 2nd most hectares in the last 20 years... as long as you just conveniently forget about that then yeah, COVID was pretty quiet...

    Interestingly.....
Also, as we we are facing increasingly more pressure to live in 'human population zones' and leave large tracts exclusively to nature '30 for 30', I'm thinking, alot of coincidence happening these days.

The vast majority of Canadians occupy a tiny fraction of the country - more than 80% live in cities, more than 90% live within 150 miles of the US border. Also 30x30 aims to protect 30%, it says nothing about completely removing/restricting all humans from the area - things like National Parks are already protected areas for example.
