    If they come out with an actual tommy gun model i'd be interested but I'm not sure theres enough alcohol for me to think this looks good.

    I couldn't agree more. I have no clue why everything has to have a fake buffer tube and Magpul stock (and/or other furniture) now. I mean, Magpul is fine on the right guns... but I think Magpul must be giving bribes or something.

    If it's determined to be a variant of the Thompson, it will be prohibited. Just sharing a name is enough for the rcmp to do so I imagine despite the fact that the .22lr rifle here appears to share no function with it. But that's par for the course with the geniuses at the rcmp

    Why? Same reason maybe, why you see some Kung Fu practitioners wearing silk pajamas. People like to pretend.

    Nothing wrong with that, though it seems weird to me.
