Got the snubby recon non folder 223/556 and must say it is now my favorite bolt gun to date. She fits fine in my little tac bag with a diamond back tactical 5-24x50
I totally agree with you. Such a fun and accurate gun to shoot.

I blasted a bear 2 ish years ago at 7m with a shotgun, I was actually so close that I pulled the wad out of the bears shoulder
I'm surprised you don't stlll see the odd gun rack in southern Alberta... maybe further north?
Your not supposed to store guns in your vehicle longterm if that's what your thinking..... but driving around in the country with Jumper cables, tow ropes and other tools is still a thing.
