This is true and Weatherby as stopped production of stainless Vanguards as Howa supplied the barreled action.

I'm on the hunt for a stainless 270win as well, might have to settle for cerakote.

Does the HMA70223 come with the HACT 2 stage trigger? Or is that only on some models?

I can't find any details in any Sales literature that says it has the HACT 2 trigger .

I would assume it is, the HACT has been the standard trigger and 3 position safety seen on 1500s and Vanguards for 10+ years now.

Any idea when you will get mags for the Howa Minis? Doesn't seem there were any in that shipment.

Also, any chance the Ruger Ranch will make it up here in 300 Blackout again? You could sell a boatload of them... but I just want one...

This is good to know. I currently own a Vanguard that i got second hand and its probably the best shooting rifle i own - but doesn't have a 2 stage trigger - which gives a little insight into its age!
