    The world knows that the people that buy these rifles don't want nor need an added safety or hammer drilled for a spur. In the last photo you might have to wipe the face oil off the rear stock left by a righty.

    You are a true connaisseur of firearms... haha ''Righty face oil...'' lol, but indeed oil-dye products splash in the back!

    Yes, Tang safety is the ugly part and Miroku's work is NOT as it used to be from my own experience I had with my 1892 44 magnum (poor wood fitting on the forearm).

    I offer Clay a scope trade (too much of a big scope for me) for this rifle but no answer yet...

    I collect serial number rifles, but it is true that serial number 1 is getting harder to get those days.

    I think I will go with a Henry 45LC H012GCCC octagonal barrel that just landed. Not number 1 stamped, but a lot of fun!
